Westlake Lessons Rock Band Club brings student-musicians together to form multi-instrument rock band ensembles! 

Students meet for six 1-hour rehearsals followed by a live performance for friends and family.

Students benefit from...

• Developing a setlist of 2-3 songs

• Learning songs in a fun, collaborative format

• Performing music as a group

• Opportunities for improvisation, lead solos, bass grooves, drums, or to sing with a live band

When -  Rehearsals will be offered on Fridays and Saturdays from November 3 to December 10, with a skip date the weekend of Thanksgiving (Nov 24), and a performance on Sunday December 17th!

In Harmony With Private Lessons

RockBand Club is the perfect compliment to private lessons, allowing students to apply the skills and concepts they've studied privately in a fun and collaborative format. Meanwhile in private lessons, instructors work one-on-one with the student to help them master their song parts in between rehearsals!

Is Rock Band Club Recommended For All Students?

Groups are formed by age and experience compatibility, and generally recommended for students age 8 and above with 1 or more year of private lesson experience, or with a teacher's recommendation. RockBand Club is open to non-WL students, though it is strongly recommended that any enrolled participant have a private music teacher, to work on material in between rehearsals.
