Music education has benefits from increased math skills, problem solving skills, and higher academic test scores. Unfortunately, driving to a music studio, waiting at the studio, and fighting traffic on the way back can fill your entire afternoon.
Let us come to you, so you can spend that time however you like - being productive at home, relaxing, or simply listening to your child develop on their instrument!
Unlike many other programs, we allow families to cancel their scheduled lesson for a refund when it lands on one of many holidays throughout the year, including a week for Thanksgiving, two-weeks or more for Winter Break, a week for Spring Break and other federal holidays.
During Summer, families can cancel up to 2 lessons per month for a full refund.
Finding the right teacher for you or your child is an easy three step process. Let us know a little about the student, your neighborhood, and your availability. We'll let you know what teachers are available, so you can schedule a Pilot Lesson. After the Pilot Lesson we'll follow up to make sure it was a great experience!

Schedule a Pilot lesson from the teacher availabilities sent to you. Your teacher will contact you prior to the lesson address any questions you may have for him or her.
Our team coordinator follow up after the pilot lesson to get your feedback. Hopefully you had a great lesson and are excited to continue!
Lessons are priced at a flat monthly rate, whether you have 4 or 5 lessons in a month. This way, you always know how much you will be billed each month, and your bill won't be affected by the occasional schedule change.
This is the perfect package for beginners grades K-5. This package is great for learning the basics of the instrument, music literacy and fun musical repertoire.
This package is great for intermediate learners or beginners grade 6 and above. This package allows students to learn intermediate techniques, styles and repertoire.
This package is recommended for intermediate/advanced musicians, or beginners age 14 and above. This package allows study of advanced technical development, theory and improvisation/composition studies.
While learning happens in the lesson room, we believe that essential musical growth happens when students go beyond, by participating in recitals, and interacting with peers, in a fun and collaborative format such as our very own RockBand Club. Our RockBand Summer Camp is hosted by Eanes ISD Community Education and is open to non-W/L families.
Whether you're child is just starting his or her musical journey, or has been studying for years, public performance has extraordinary benefits for learning musicians!
Our Seasonal Recitals are an excellent opportunity to perform on stage for a large friendly audience, and to appreciate an eclectic range of students performances.
All styles are welcome. Students may perform a traditional solo-instrumental piece, student-teacher duet, or use the stage mics and perform as a singer/songwriter!
Westlake Lessons RockBand Club brings student-musicians together to from Multi-instrument Rock Ensemebles!
Students meet for six 1-hour rehearsals followed by a live performance for friends and family.
Students benefit from developing a setlist of 2-3 songs; learning songs in a fun, collaborative format; performing music as a group; opportunities for improvisation, lead solos, bass grooves, drums, or to sing with a live band!
Beginner and experienced players are welcome alike to this 5-day music camp with a performance on the last day of Camp. Beginners will learn the basics of an instrument of their choice: Guitar, Drums, Voice, or Keyboard.
Students learn to play together as a group in sectionals and rehearsals each day. Band members learn and perform songs by artists such as: Shawn Mendez, Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors and the Beatles!
Campers develop their band name, logo and band persona - design T-Shirts, Album Art and Posters to promote their show!
If you are starting lessons with us for the first time, we are excited to start learning music with you or your child!
Before we get started — especially if you are new to music lessons — there are policies we want all students and families to know before we begin!
Westlake Lessons is a weekly subscription service. Once you start lessons with us, your enrollment reserves your teacher's time slot on a weekly basis.
Other than Holidays and Summer Vacations, student absences are not eligible for a refund. Teachers may offer makeup lessons at their discretion and availability.
A student must have a working instrument to participate in lessons. You can still request a pilot lesson so we can let your know our availability, but the teacher cannot bring an instrument for the pilot lesson. A keyboard or piano is required for voice lessons.

A parent, guardian or baby sitter must be present at the residence during the entire lesson. If a teacher arrives at a house and no parent is present, the lesson may be canceled for no refund or make-up.
